Who Am I?

I’m Drew Wolfer — husband, father, entrepreneur, and full-time professional trader.

I’ve been in the financial markets for over 10 years.

I trade crypto, stocks, options, futures, commodities, and forex.

My Background

I studied Business and Finance in college at the University of South Florida — where I was later honored with the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award. But the real education started when I entered the markets.

Over the past decade, I’ve built multiple 6- and 7-figure businesses. I founded Nordic Alpha — a full education platform where I mentor traders, share my analysis, teach live, offer courses, and run a trading community on Discord. I founded Wolfer Finance Corp.

I’ve been featured in Men’s Journal, Maxim, Entrepreneur, International Business Times, and Grit Daily. I delivered a keynote speech at the World Blockchain Summit in Dubai. I’ve been a guest on the Entrepreneur.com Action & Ambition Podcast and the Grit Daily Startup Show.

I haven’t had a traditional job in nearly 10 years. Trading gave me the freedom to choose how I live — and I want that for you too.

How I Trade

After 10+ years of testing every strategy, every indicator, every system — I figured out that only a few things actually matter. The market isn’t random. It moves based on institutional positioning. And that positioning shows up in a handful of key concepts:

Where institutions are accumulating and distributing (VWAP). Where the most volume has been transacted (Points of Control). Where the market’s structure has shifted (Breaks of Structure, Market Structure Shifts). Where institutional orders were placed (Order Blocks).

That’s it. That’s what moves price. Everything else is noise.

Once I figured that out, I became a better trader. A more profitable trader. A more consistent trader. My win rate went up. My stress went down.

My confidence in every trade went through the roof — because I wasn’t guessing anymore. I was seeing what the smart money was seeing.

The Problem

But here’s the thing: trading this way manually is brutal.

To properly track all of these institutional levels across multiple timeframes, on multiple assets, every single day — it would take me hours. Hours of drawing lines. Hours of marking levels. Hours of checking which levels had been hit and which ones were still valid. Hours of recalculating after every session close.

I’m a husband. I have kids. I have a life. And I was spending more time maintaining my charts than I was actually trading — or being with my family.

I could only watch 2-3 assets at a time because the maintenance was so demanding. If I wanted to add a new asset, that was another hour of setup. If I missed a day, everything was outdated.

Something had to change.

The Solution

So I taught myself how to code in Pine Script — and I automated my entire methodology.

I didn’t build Alpha Intelligence for anyone else. I built it for me. Selfishly. Because I needed it to exist. I needed a tool that would do everything I was doing manually — but instantly, automatically, on every chart, on every timeframe, without me lifting a finger.

And it worked. Overnight, my charting time went from hours to seconds. I could watch as many assets as I wanted. Every level was tracked. Every structure shift was identified. Every order block was scored and monitored. All automatically.

I got my time back. I got my life back.
I got to spend more time with my wife and my kids.
I got to do the things I actually enjoy doing.

Because you can’t buy time back. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Why I Opened Alpha Intelligence Up

People inside Nordic Alpha — my private trading community — started seeing my charts and asking questions. They saw levels on my charts that they couldn’t see on theirs. They saw me catching moves that seemed impossible. They saw how clean and organized everything was.

And they said: “Whatever you’re using — I need access to that.”

So I built Alpha Intelligence as a company. Not because I planned to. But because the tools I built for myself were so far ahead of anything else available that people demanded them.

My Philosophy

I believe in keeping it simple. I believe that there are only a few things that truly matter in trading — and if you focus on those things with the right tools, you can become consistently profitable without spending your entire life in front of a screen.

I believe that time is the most valuable thing you have. You can always make more money. You can never make more time.
